Sweet little cafe. Genuinely warm and friendly staff with good sense of humour that gave us a little laugh. Lots of vegan, gf and regular options for both lunch, breakfast and cakes. I started eating the moment it arrived and forgot to take a photo. Lovely place to stop on our tour of the horses. Thanks very much

This cafe is fantastic! Such a great selection of food and drinks all presented excellently! Lovely quaint indoor seating with loads of history and local items surrounding you, equally great outdoor shaded seating with music. Very relaxing atmosphere. I had an iced mocha and a slice of coffee and walnut cake which was so good! I could easily spend hours sat outside reading a book with a succession of coffees. Highly recommend this cafe and garden centre, you’d be mad to miss out!

I absolutely loved the vegetable panini toasted. 5 quid full of deliciousness with every juicy bite. My mouth was singing and dancing cruch after crisp crunch. The chef did not skimp on flavor or quality. Please do not change the recipe. It's perfect! I would definitely return to eat here, and it was super popular and busy with locals. It's a great sign. There was plenty of parking when I arrived. Bon Apetit!

Today was my second visit with Sam, a regular there. The food was lovely, and the atmosphere was also very nice. A great little spot for a bite to eat. The staff were even lovelier, it’s a shame they’re all leaving soon (hopefully not all!) I’ll certainly be back next time I visit Sam. Thanks for a great lunch!

An exceptional place that's so much more than a cafe; it's also a unique shop but one that is difficult to describe as it sells local eggs and cakes as well as a superb arra of wooden chopping boards, japanese knives, paintings, glasses and all sorts of other things that could be high-class gifts or things to delight your house. What I love about Sticks and Stones is the location -- in the middle of nowhere. It's an important community resource, as well as for houseboat-folk like myself, and I take my hat off to all those people in the area who support it. The staff are really friendly with not a trace of fakery about them, and when people come in the chat like they're old friends.Maybe the are. Well worth a detour.
